The technology Interactive Places provides is the gateway to a virtual world full of stories, characters and experiences. The handheld device with headphones has a touch sensitive screen with intuitive menus.

A visitor needs only their fingertips to interact with a host of different media. It’s easy to use and, increasingly, visitors will be familiar with this technology. (We can also create simple instructional games for those unsure of how it works.) The device can be used anywhere, inside and out, and uses GPS or wi-fi points to determine a visitor’s location.
The visitor doesn’t need to work out where he or she is standing to access relevant information – the handset knows where the visitor is and delivers media automatically.
Many historical sites, museums, and galleries already use touch screen technology – even older visitors are likely to have seen it before. But individual touchscreen handsets remove potential bottlenecks at key information points, and the interactive content provides a unique and personalised experience.
Your visitors (in particular children and teenagers) interact with digital media on a daily basis, and this makes them demanding customers with high expectations. Interactive Places uses technology to engage, stimulate and educate, and to meet their expectations with an experience more usually associated with films and video games.
